On Saturday, April 18, North Texans are invited to participate in a Water Walk at Galleria Dallas in support of Paper for Waters mission of funding water and sanitation projects worldwide to create opportunities for better health, increased education and brighter futures.

Starting at 9 a.m., participants will walk through Galleria Dallas, many carrying large water containers, to demonstrate and learn about the difficult conditions facing those who live without access to clean water. Participation in the event begins at $50 and organizers hope to raise enough funds to help 600 new people gain access to clean water and sanitation.

Since its inception, Paper for Water has facilitated water installations in dozens of countries across four continents.

An educational exhibit at Galleria Dallas showcases the mission of Paper For Water, a nonprofit dedicated to funding clean water and sanitation projects around the world. The Freedom to Play installation highlights the global water crisis and its impact on children, many of whom spend hours each day collecting water instead of attending school or playing. Through engaging visuals and information, the exhibit aims to raise awareness and inspire community support. The exhibit will be accompanied by a Paper for Water origami installation above the ice rink beginning April 16.

Scarborough Renaissance Festival celebrates its 45th season April 4May 25, 2026, in Waxahachie, Texas (2511 FM 66, approximately 30 minutes south of downtown Dallas). The popular outdoor festival is open Saturdays, Sundays and Memorial Day Monday from 10 a.m.7 p.m.

Visitors step into a re-created 16th-century English village filled with immersive entertainment for all ages, including full-combat jousting, birds of prey exhibitions, live music and comedy, interactive performances, games of skill and human-powered rides.
