Audition to Join! Calling all strings, winds and percussion!
To audition and be a part of the Coppell Community Orchestra, make a video of prepared scales and excerpts from two pieces with contrasting styles and send to ceciliahamilton@gmail.com or come out and join us on a Wednesday for rehearsal to see if it's a good fit! Please email ceciliahamilton@gmail.com to advise that you are coming to a practice with as much notice as possible so we can ensure that it is not during a pre-performance rehearsal.
Rehearsals are held at the Arts Center, 157 S Moore Rd in Coppell (next to Austin Elementary) on Wednesdays, 7-8:30 p.m. We will accept additional members throughout the season depending on playing ability and needs of the ensemble. We have immediate needs for most sections, we look forward to meeting you!

We are always accepting donations, patrons and corporate partnerships as well as volunteers to help support our Board with publicity, fundraising and all organizational logistics of running a community performing arts organization.
Special note for minors and parents: Yes, you may be qualified to join us!
Maturity and professional demeanor is expected in addition to musicianship. All members must be able to communicate and receive communication directly with board members or director and manage schedules with welcomed parental supervision and involvement but not necessarily parental mediation. An example of the maturity we seek is one who is capable of sending his or her own emails, scheduling his or her own audition with parental consent, receiving and responding to musical critique on a high level and checking the website for important updates.
Coppell Community Orchestra is committed to a non-compete policy with other instrumental ensembles such as high school orchestras and bands. Without expressed written consent from high school directors, players of school age able to meet our performance standards may not perform with us INSTEAD of participating in available school bands or orchestras.
