SPCA of Texas paints the town purple!

The week of September 19th, the SPCA of Texas brought in a record-breaking amount of fundraising revenue in a short time-frame. The organization lit up the town purple, figuratively and literally, as it celebrated raising more than $1 Million and the Omni Dallas and the Bank of America building glowed purple. The funding came in several ways.

Chipotle Mexican Grill donated a portion of their proceeds from all 67 Metroplex-area restaurants earned on Tuesday, September 20th back to the SPCA of Texas for a total of $7,700.

North Texas Giving Day, Thursday, September 22nd, surpassed expectations, resulting in a total of $311,000 to include a $50,000 challenge match and bonus funds from 2,151 gifts coming into the SPCA of Texas (almost double the amount raised in 2015).

The SPCA of Texas’ Fur Ball gala, “Shedding Light on Their Future,” on Saturday, September 24th at the Omni Dallas was a sell-out with 1,200 guests in attendance, resulting in more than $510,000 raised.

In addition, $185,000 in estate gifts were received and $57,000 in grants were gifted.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of the Metroplex community!
